“HIDDEN SEASONS”

Do you feel that no one understands you?  Perhaps you feel that no one even SEES you.  I understand that certain seasons can feel lonely and a bit like it’s “you against the world” at times. It can even be hard for people to fully relate to what you’re going through in a particular season because unless they’ve gone through it, how can they?  But I’m here to encourage you that this doesn’t HAVE to discourage you!  You are on a unique path that God designed only for YOU!  You can be encouraged and strengthened in these seasons if you will look to the source that created the season in the first place.  Jesus Christ is our answer.  The Bible says that He is the friend that is closer than a brother!  He is our Comforter, Healer and Counselor.  He promises us a peace that surpasses all understanding if we keep our focus on Him.  When on the mountaintops or deep in the valleys below, you can always count on Him to be there for you when you need someone the most.  He not only SEES you, but He CREATED you for a purpose that only HE knows how to fulfill!  The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, that we are created to do good works that He planned for us!  That’s why our “purpose” can be found in Him… because He created it!

If you feel that you just “don’t have it together,” or don’t “have your ducks in a row,” and are struggling in any way, you can be encouraged today because if you spend much time in the Bible at all, you’ll see that our biblical heroes of faith weren’t always on mountaintops either.  They had many valleys and walks through the trenches before reaching the promises that God had for them.  It was journey for them and it’s a journey for us.  Don’t be so hard on yourself if you don’t reach your “promised land” by tomorrow. Lol.  Take David, Joseph and Moses for example… they all had “hidden” seasons of quiet and even some troublesome years in the midst of walking out their purpose and the visions that God had for them. God anointed David long before he wore the crown.  Moses felt the call to help bring freedom to his people, the Israelites, long before God officially called Him out to fulfill this purpose. Joseph… man oh man… what a hand he was dealt!  He went through all sorts of testing and trials before reaching what God revealed to him in a dream many years prior!  Likewise, you may find yourself in one of these seasons… I know I am! But that doesn’t mean God is through with you… far from it! He is working on you and IN you so that some day you’ll be strong enough to handle how He’ll work THROUGH you, just like how He worked in the stories of David, Joseph and Moses. Be obedient and faithful with the work He’s put in front of you right now, just like they did, step by step, and trust His timing and His plan for the rest! God is good and knows EXACTLY what He’s doing in your life! He is creating another beautiful story out of your life, and is always faithful to come through for you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ He did it for them… He will do it for you!  Hang in there during the middle part of the journey… He can be trusted!  It will all make sense one day! Hang on to this scripture during every season and know that His word promises to work it out for your good if you love Him:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall make your paths straight.” - Proverbs 3:5-6
